Takedown and grievance

How to report content, what happens next, and who is accountable. In force from 11 August 2026.

If something distributed through Hashdrop infringes your rights, breaks the law, or breaches our Acceptable Use Policy, tell us and we will act.

How to report

Every public install page has a report link, which is the fastest route because it identifies the content automatically. Otherwise write to us with:

Email info@hashmedia.in, or write to Hash Media, 803, Krishna Beacon, Near Tragad Tunnel, Off S.P. Ring Road, Near Vaishnodevi Circle, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India — 382470.

What happens, and when

StepTiming
We acknowledge your complaintWithin 24 hours
We review, and where needed ask you or the publisher for morePromptly
We resolve it and tell you the outcomeWithin 15 days
Content that is clearly unlawful or malicious is disabledImmediately, before the review completes

Where we disable content, distribution stops entirely — including links already shared — and the publisher is told what was removed and why. They may respond, and we will consider a counter-statement.

Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, the grievance officer for Hashdrop is Harshit Lalpura, Hash Media, 803, Krishna Beacon, Near Tragad Tunnel, Off S.P. Ring Road, Near Vaishnodevi Circle, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India — 382470, info@hashmedia.in, (+91) 987-952-7446. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00 IST.

You do not need to use the grievance route to have something looked at. The report link and the email address above reach the same people, and both are answered within the same timescales.

Bad-faith reports

A complaint made dishonestly to disrupt a competitor wastes the time that genuine reports need. We keep a record of reports and who made them, and we decline to act on repeated bad-faith complaints.
